How Sport Prophet turns a fixture into a signal
From a fixture to a signal
Sport Prophet turns each fixture into a small set of analytical picks you can check, not a single tip.
1. Fixtures
Upcoming matches sync from football-data.org across the top five leagues, the EFL Championship and the UEFA Champions League. We only surface full match days, so the board is never an endless forward calendar.
2. Context
For each fixture we assemble recent form, standings, injuries, coaching profiles, market odds and external-model consensus into one structured context. Any feed without a live provider is clearly labelled, never presented as real.
3. The signal: 2 to 4 picks
The engine produces 2 to 4 market picks per fixture, each with its own confidence and a short rationale tied back to the data. There is no single home, draw or away call. The picks are complementary angles, and the first is the banker, the safest read.
4. Reasoning
A model reasons over the context to choose and justify the picks, in probabilistic language. It leans and suggests; it never guarantees.
5. Settlement
After full time every pick is settled from the real score. Two numbers are kept in the open: coverage (did at least one pick land) and the banker strike rate (did the safest pick land).
6. Calibration
Every settled fixture feeds accuracy tracking by confidence band over time, so a stated confidence means something, not just a number on a card.
Predictions are decision-support only, not financial or betting advice. Outcomes are uncertain; past accuracy does not guarantee future results.
